Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic Geography Week exploring our local area and discovering how it has changed over time. As part of their learning, the children took part in a field trip around Southwick, investigating different features of the area, including shops, industry, transport links and housing. They carefully observed the local environment and considered how the community has developed through the years. Back in the classroom, the children produced some excellent work, including detailed maps of the local area and comparisons between Southwick in the past and present. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, curiosity and geographical skills throughout the week, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
