Moving on from Glebe

Here at Glebe we offer a variety of support for our Year 6 pupils in the transition from primary to secondary school.

These include taster days as well as specifically designed programmes of study for our pupils. These allow our pupils opportunities to discuss their feelings, build resilience and alleviate some of their fears.   

Choosing the right secondary school

Parents and carers are encouraged to visit Open Evenings at secondary schools to help them in the decision process.  All details for Open Evenings can be obtained from individual secondary school websites and on the schools MCAS under Announcements Section.

Please note: All admission applications for secondary transfer are usually completed online by the Thursday 31st October 2024. You will be notified by the local authority in March of the following year.
