Our pupils physical, mental health and wellbeing is at the core of everything we do at Glebe.
This can be increasingly challenging for us all to achieve in our modern, constantly changing and technologically advancing world. This page offers some support to parents and pupils to support wellbeing.
If you have any concerns about your child's wellbeing and would like to speak to a member of staff, please contact the school Office on office@glebeprimary.co.uk or T: 01273 592163.
There are 5 dimensions that work together to support health and wellbeing for us all Physical, Social, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual.
Wellbeing can be supported by getting a good nights sleep, eating well, being out in nature, having fun and seeing friends and family.
Anxiety is a normal emotion that everyone feels at some stage in their lives. A little bit of anxiety can be useful in life and keeps us motivated and alert. If anxiety gets too much or too big, it can make us feel "afraid" and can show in our children's bodies physically as a tummy ache, ear or headache or as dizziness for example. Anxiety can start to impact the 5 aspects of our wellbeing and affect children's emotions, mental health and stop them from doing things in life because they are worrying too much.
