We get so many parents and carers telling us that the methods the children use in school now are so different to the way they were taught at school. Well, you're quite right!
Things have changed but the methods you hear your child talk about are actually quite simple. In the maths section of our website you can find links to all of our calculation policies explaining the different methods we follow in: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division across all of our year groups.
