Year 2 - Great Fire of London Workshop

I learnt that people thought dogs started the plague and that plague doctors wore funny masks with bird beaks.

 By Lily MB, Year 2

On Thursday 14thMarch Year 2 had a very special visit from the Rainbow Theatre Company and had the opportunity to take part in a Great Fire of London workshop. All three classes spent the morning being fully immersed in what life was like in 1666 and the events of The Great Fire. Each child played an important part in our re-enactment ranging from victims of the plague to Christopher Wren. All the children had a fantastic morning learning more about what happened and showing off their acting skills. We have some fantastic actors in Year 2!

My favourite part was when we acted out that there was a fire.
