Life in Year 6
There’s probably only one word to describe life in Year 6- busy! Year 6 means the end of primary school and building up to saying ’Goodbye to Glebe’. There’s a lot to get done. We need to choose secondary schools, visit these schools and make sure we are in the best possible place to be secondary school ready. And we can’t forget the end of primary school assessments -SATS- that we need to be ready for in May and show off just how awesome we are.
But whilst we work hard, we play hard too. There’s sporting activities and tournaments, a fantastic offsite residential, our ‘Red Carpet Assembly’ and a creating legendary musical to top it all off!
So, hold onto your hats Year 6. It’s busy. It’s fun. It’s hard work. But we promise it’s worth it.

Summer Term Topic 2019: "Goodbye to Glebe"
Goodbye to Glebe! It’s a sad term for Year 6 as we’re thinking about moving on to our new secondary schools. It’s also exceptionally busy with school visits, transition sessions, swimming and a fantastic residential to Fairthorne Manor in Southampton!
There’s also the small matter of our amazing end of year show –‘The Lion King’. We’ll be putting on the razzle dazzle to present an all singing, all dancing extravangza before saying goodbye with a gala awards dinner.
We’re all sure our last term at Glebe will be one to remember.
