Years 4&5 More able PE workshop

It was really fun and I enjoyed it. I really want to do it again! I knew how to bowl before but not properly and the other things were all new for me.

Today a selection of children in Years 4 and 5 completed a more able workshop on Cricket Skills for PE. What fun we had! We started off by practising two types of catching skills followed by a short session on long barriers and effective fielding. Finally, we had a great session practising effective bowling and the children learned how to keep their arms straight. There was some really great bowling on show!

We all had a great afternoon and even had a drop in from former a women's Sussex cricket player to check out our skills...someone called Miss Frances Block!
