Year 2 found a dragon's egg!

‘I was excited to find the egg, I can’t wait for it to hatch!’

At the start of September Year 2 made an exciting discovery in their classrooms! They found three eggs! After a search around the school for clues and a bit of research, Year 2 made the decision that they must be a dragon’s eggs. Year 2 then received an email from Lewes Castle explaining that one of their dragons, Penny, had recently escaped and that Penny’s eggs had been found in the Southwick area. Year 2 were inspired to write some fantastic instructions explaining how to catch a baby dragon.

It was very pretty. We looked for clues and worked out that is must be a dragon's egg.
