Glebe's

French Workshop

I love French. I really enjoyed speaking French and writing about our monsters

 By James G, Year 4.

On Tuesday 5th February 2019, a group of Glebe pupils, together with Mrs Holbrook, visited a Glebie French cafe and enjoyed a glass of a menthe d'eau and a croissant whilst they enjoyed some music. After this, they explored the book 'Va-t'en, Grand Monstre Vert!' by Ed Emberley and looked at how the author used colour, number and size to describe the monster within the story. They then created their own monsters and wrote sentences to describe what they had created. A great afternoon doing something a little different!

The French session today was so good because we got to have French drinks and eat food! I loved making my monster too and writing sentences about them.
